Puna Covenant Church on Old Volcano Highway in Keaau announces its annual Community Bazaar scheduled for 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday (July 18).

Puna Covenant Church on Old Volcano Highway in Keaau announces its annual Community Bazaar scheduled for 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday (July 18).

“Our church is again bringing our annual Community Bazaar to Keaau,” said church secretary Wendy Sugai.

“The rummage sale is our most popular event,” added Lyle Morris.

“We’ll have tons of clothing, small household appliances, kitchenware and lots more, all at our regular low prices,” Morris continued. “You definitely need to get here early for the best selection.”

The rummage sale is accompanied by the popular bake and plant sales. And if you’re hungry, there will be plenty of food concessions, including specialty Filipino dishes and other goodies freshly made right from the kitchen.

For the keiki, don’t miss the room of toys for sale. The book sale will have hardbacks, paperbacks and some videos.

“Puna Covenant Church is proud of our 60-plus years of bringing quality, lightly used goods to the surrounding community,” Sugai said. “The bargains are a blessing to families and the profits from the bazaar go to help support outreach in our local community along with support for several missionary families around the world.”

The public is invited and there is no admission fee.
